Three Point Shot and Free Throw Contest

Overview:

Both events offer men's and women's division. Three point contest consists of shooting 10 shots total, with 2 form each spot (baseline, corners, and top of the key). Each shot is worth 3 points. All shooters get 1 halfcourt shot which is worth 10 points. The Free Throw contest consists of 20 free throws. Each made is worth 1 point. By hitting at least 15 of the first 20 free throws, participants are awarded 5 bonus shots. If all 25 free throws are made, continue to shoot until a miss. The individual with the most points for each competition wins an intramural champion t-shirt.

Registration Information:

The registration period for the 3 Point Contest and the Free Throw Contest is Tuesday, October 21st - Tuesday, October 28th. The deadline on Tuesday, Oct. 28th is at 7pm at the Rec Center Front Desk. Cost is $3/person per event. All registration forms must be filled out completely with all the relevant information from the the participants. All participants must submit their Rowan ID # and fill out the waiver prior to participation.

The Three Point Shot and Free Throw contest will be held on Tuesday, November 4th (Election Day: No Classes) at 12pm noon in the Recreation Center Basketball Courts.
